UV-Sterilizer

UV sterilizer is a device that uses ultraviolet (UV) light to kill or inactivate harmful microorganisms, such as bacteria, viruses, and fungi, by destroying their DNA or RNA, making them unable to reproduce or cause disease. How It Works:

UV sterilization works by exposing the target microorganisms to UV-C light (a specific wavelength range of ultraviolet light, typically between 200 to 280 nanometers). When microorganisms are exposed to this light, their DNA or RNA absorbs the energy and undergoes structural changes, preventing them from replicating and causing harm.

Limitations:

  • Maintenance: UV sterilizers require regular maintenance, including lamp replacements, as the intensity of UV light decreases over time.
